A short distance from the cottages lies Loch Eye, an established nature reserve.

During your stay with us fish this shallow freshwater loch from our own hire boat and drift lazily with a drogue out waiting for the buzzerhatch to come on later in the evening.

Cast a few flies- you might consider a Soldier Palmer, a Black Pennel, a Grouse and Claret or a Muddler and Mini Muddler. All have been used successfully on the loch but undoubtedly you'll have your own favourites that are worth a cast or two to tempt a trout.
